biz progress update & non-biz recs
Hello! I’ve decided to share quick updates on my biz activities, list-style.
In the past week I’ve…
attended a webinar on slow marketing (and refined things)
had a feedback session with a trial client
met with my freelancing client (hours are picking back up! #SummerHiatusNoMore)
had an intro session with a trial client (and they’ve scheduled a session for August)
had an intro call for a practice coaching client (and sent over the student agreement for them to sign as we’re a good fit)
had a consult call with a trial client and co-created a new service offer (and we scheduled 4 sessions in July)
For July 17 - 21, I have currently scheduled:
quarterly planning session with a membership community
intro call with a potential practice coaching client
intro call with a potential coaching client and/or biz trial client
first project intensive sessions with a trial client (it’s like a mini VIP-day)
first coaching session with a practice client (excluding practice in class)
first walkthrough + project closing session with a trial client (+ biz service debrief)
walkthrough with my freelancing client (of my checklist template for their workflow/processes)
Who I’m learning from:
Christie Mims at Coach Pony (also, their networking happy hour event led to 3 client leads for me!)
The Copy Chat summit Marisa Corcoran hosted last week (fantastic conversations - and transcripts!)
In general, I’m refining my 1:1 paid service offers as I trial them. I’m also outlining low-cost/free digital products based on my main session structure and daily/weekly planner checklists (which I don’t want to design myself, so if you know anyone, let me know…).
I created and filled in a spreadsheet CRM about people I’m (potentially) working with. The columns include: Name, Where met, When met, When first started working together, My work for them, Story together from when/how we met, and Their offerings I've been a part of.
It’s been great to have that info out of my head, email, and calendar in one spot!
